We are delighted in Scoil Naomh Pádraig with all the reading that is being done throughout the school, In September alone we read over 4 million words! WOW!

Some children have even reached their 1st Reading Target.

Well done to everybody.

17th Oct - Maths Week in 4th Class

4th Class loved doing their Smartie Box survey.

They counted, sorted & tallied the smarties & then drew a bar graph of their findings!

And the pièce de résistance… they got to eat the smarties afterwards!

6th Class visited the Kerry Museum today in Tralee.

They learnt all about the #History of Ireland through the ages.

2 of our teachers were involved in #Football matches yesterday.

Congrats to Ms Murphy & the Banteer LGFA's Team on winning the Semi-Final of the county.

A special Congrats to Ms Daly who captained the winning Knocknagree LGFA's Team in the county final!

Junior Infants finger painting #Autumn Trees.

They examined the paintings of "Kandinsky" and his use of circles while painting!

Oct 1st - Climbing Claragh Mt

Our 6th Classes climbed Claragh Mt today.

It is part of the Derrynasaggart Mountain range which spreads across the Cork-Kerry border.

It is 452m high.

Well done everybody👏👏👏👏
